TWIST is our State certified STEM and PBL program here at Lanier Middle School. It is a partnership between Language Arts and Science teachers and students. TWIST stands for
Teamwork Welcoming Innovating STEM Thinking. It is for our 7th and 8th grade students, who show an aptitude for a flexible working environment and rigorous work. Each spring, students who thrive in a collaborative, innovative work environment are encouraged to participate in the TWIST program.

Multiple projects are done throughout the year that enhances the content as well as developing solutions to real world problems.
