• JLC 8 (1 year commitment)

    Junior Leadership Corps 8 covers a variety of topics, including Leadership, Communication, Health, and Physical Education.  Students will compare the actions and reactions of conflicting roles, as well as describe how personal goals can vary with changing abilities, priorities, and responsibilities.  Throughout the semester, students will have the opportunity to demonstrate how to work cooperatively and productively in a group to accomplish a set goal in both cooperative and competitive settings.  This eighth grade Connections class provides a look at careers in many different types of leadership roles.
     
    To be considered for Junior Leadership Corps 8, the following commitments have been established:
    1. Students must submit an online signed Parent/Student Acknowledgment and Commitment Form no later than Monday, March 11th.. Applications received after this date may not be considered. 
    ** Please note, the completion of an application does not guarantee placement in this program.
    2. Students selected for Junior Leadership Corps 8 are required to continue the course for the entire school year.
     
    In the event that there are more qualified students than seats available, students will be selected randomly. 

    ** Please keep in mind that student schedules are not finalized until August. Final course placements will not be available until that time. **
