      • Aqui pueden encontrar informacion en espanol de las tarifas de graduacion

WHAT ARE SENIOR FEES USED FOR?

Senior Fees cover a lot more than you think and are REQUIRED for anyone participating in the Graduation Ceremony.

      Your dues will cover:
      • Cap & Gown, stole, & tassel
      • Diploma & Diploma Cover
      • Program & Ticket printing for Graduation Ceremony
      • Fees paid to the Gas South District (formerly the Infinite Energy Center/Arena)
      • Treats and Activities planned throughout the year (spiritwear, memory boards, breakfast(s), yard sign, etc...)

What happens if fees are not paid?

Again, if you plan to participate in the graduation ceremony next May, you MUST pay them.  Throughout the year, you will not be able to receive any of the treats that are given out until your fees are paid so the sooner you pay, the more you will be able to receive for the year! We can only order depending on the available funds so those who wait until much later may not receive treats that are given out earlier.

WHEN & HOW CAN I PAY MY FEES?

      Posted 7/31/23

Senior Fees are paid directly through Scholastic Images. Scholastic Images is the official provider for MVHS cap & gowns. YOU MUST ORDER THROUGH SCHOLASTIC IMAGES. Senior fees cannot be paid via MyPaymentsPlus.

We are pleased to say that the fees will remain the same as last year. This year's senior fees are $180 (+$4.95 online processing fee). You may visit their store and pay in person as well, but NO SENIOR FEES will be taken at MVHS.

Fees should be paid ASAP as you will not be able to receive any treats or participate in Senior Activities until they are paid. Fees paid after February 29, 2024 will incur a late fee. This means that you will NOT receive the Senior Yard Sign and Senior T-shirt. The later in the year, the more difficult it is to have everything so PLEASE, try to pay sooner rather than later.

To pay online, you will need to visit the website (link below); search for MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL; and then click the CAP & GOWN PACKAGES. Then select OPTION A (basic package) or if you wish to add items, you can browse through the other options. Just be aware that OPTION A is the minimum required package.

BUT WHAT IF I ATTEND WORK-BASED LEARNING, GRAYSON TECH, MAXWELL, OR DUAL ENROLLMENT

We understand that some of our students elect to take on different paths their senior year and may not always be on campus. We will post the dates for all senior treats so you can plan for them. Even if you're not on campus all day, you can still receive your treat. Most treats are distributed during lunch (4th & 5th Periods). If you leave MVHS early, we try to have everything ready at the very end of 3rd or beginning of 4th. Just stick around a few minutes and we'll get your treat to you. If you have AM Maxwell, WBL, Grayson Tech, we will be there until the end of 5th period. Bottom line, YOU WILL STILL RECEIVE YOUR TREAT.

If you happen to be absent the day of the treat (we know sometimes you're not able to be at school for sickness, college visits, etc...) you can pick up all NON-PERISHABLE treats from Mr. Owens (C204) the next day.

Please don't think just because you're not on campus all day that you won't receive your treat. We strive to make your senior year special and that means we will work with you whenever possible!

But what if my student decides not to participate in the Graduation Ceremony?

Students who elect not to walk in the Graduation Ceremony next May can see Mr. Owens in room C204 (Music Tech) and pay $30 CASH ONLY for the diploma & cover. The diplomas will be available for pickup AFTER Memorial Day. More details will be shared about this as we get closer. Please note that if your student elects to pay the $30 CASH ONLY for the diploma & cover, they will NOT receive any of the senior treats that will be scheduled throughout the year.
