Counselor for Students in grades K-3

I am a licensed school counselor who is dedicated to helping students reach their personal best. This is my ninth year working at Sycamore Elementary, but my eleventh year as a school counselor. I have worked as a school counselor in elementary, middle, and high schools in Georgia, North Carolina and Virginia. I received my bachelor's degree from Wingate University, my Masters degree from Wake Forrest University, and my Educational Specialist degree from the University of the Cumberlands. As a school counselor I work with students in groups and individually to help them develop academic skills, social and personal skills, and begin to explore future and career options. I also work with parents and other school staff to help create the best educational environment for students. It is my over arching goal as a school counselor to help all students become the most successful version of themselves by removing personal, social, and academic barriers. Ms. Moody lives in Flowery Branch with her husband Graham, sons Elam and Tucker, and dogs Otis and Zuzu. I look forward to working with you this year!
