Hello! This year marks my 17th year as a licensed school counselor and my second year at Sycamore Elementary! My mission each day is to assist students to reach their personal, social, and academic goals by providing access to research-based lessons, activities, and skill-building. I achieve that mission by working with students individually, in small groups regarding a common theme such as study skills, and by delivering character-building lessons to large groups/classes. School counselors believe in nurturing students today for the world tomorrow; thus, I deliver career exploration and development lessons and activities to our students. This work is most successful when I work with parents, staff members, and community partners to strategize on the most equitable resources and interventions for our kids and how each student can access what they need to thrive! I look forward to working with each of you this year!
