    Pinckneyville Middle School has several sports teams that play other middle schools in Gwinnett County. The purpose of competitive basketball is to provide instruction in teamwork, fundamentals of basketball and sportsmanship within the framework of vigorous competition.

  • Boy's Soccer 24-25

    Mission: Our mission is to develop our players into well-rounded athletes in teamwork, sportsmanship, technical skill, and tactical knowledge

    Activities: Activities will include pre-conditioning and team tryouts in January. We are awaiting concrete information on the length of the season.

    IMPORTANT: Boys and Girls Soccer Tryout Forms!!

    • You must be cleared to play via RankOne prior to the first day of tryouts or you will not be able to participate.
    • Follow the instructions attached to make sure your son/daughter is cleared to tryout on January 20th.
    • Get these forms completed asap! The physical form is on the website and you can take it to the doctor and have them complete it and then upload the form to RankOne.
    • They will not be able to tryout if they are not cleared through RankOne, NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • Boys Basketball 24-25

    • Boys' Basketball Pinckneyville Middle School has a boys’ basketball team that plays other middle schools in Gwinnett County.
    • Mission:  The purpose of competitive basketball is to provide instruction in teamwork, the fundamentals of basketball, and sportsmanship within the framework of vigorous competition.
    • Activities:  Activities will include pre-conditioning and team tryouts in October. The regular season begins in November and ends in February with a postseason tournament.
    • Sponsor(s):  
    • Meeting Dates and Times: Monday-Friday: 4:30-6:30 PM (October- Mid-February) 
    • Location:  Gym
    • Tryouts to be held in October 15th

  • Cheerleading 24-25

    • Cheerleading (6th, 7th, and 8th grade)- The Pinckneyville Blue Devils Cheer Squad are the cheerleaders for girls’ and boys’ basketball teams. *Members are from 6th, 7th and 8th grade. *Tryouts will be held in the fall for all grade levels. The students cheer during the November-February basketball season.

    • Meeting Dates and Times: Monday and Tuesday mornings from 7AM-9AM

     

     

  • Cross Country 24-25

    • Mission: The Pinckneyville Middle School Cross Country Team is a feeder program for Norcross High School providing competitive cross country running for middle school students at where they compete with other middle schools in the surrounding area. 
    • Activities: Cross Country Meets are scheduled on Saturday mornings in the surrounding area in addition to weekly practices 
    • Sponsor(s): David Claypole and Xavier Anthony
    • Meeting Times: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and optional Wednesday morning practice. Meets held during the season are scheduled on Saturdays

  • Girls Volleyball 24-25

    • Mission:  The Pinckneyville Girls Volleyball Team is made up of  6th, 7th and 8th grade girls. This team is part of the Gwinnett County Public Schools athletic program and competes at high levels against other Middle Schools throughout the County. In addition, the Norcross Junior Blue Devils Volleyball program is a feeder program for Norcross High School that provides a competitive volleyball program for middle school students at Pinckneyville Middle School, where they compete with other area middle schools. 
    • Activities:  Teams A, B, and C. Obligations include practice, home and away games
    • Affiliation:  Norcross Cluster

    • Meeting Times:  Monday-Thursday practice & games, with a few Saturday tournaments
