Mission and Vision
The Norton Media Center strives to provide a safe and inviting environment that encourages the entire school community to access materials in a variety of formats for knowledge and enjoyment. The media center includes resources which support Gwinnett County's AKS and the Georgia Performance Standards, as well as the Common Core Standards and is a place where everyone is welcome. A few of the media center’s goals are to promote students' interest in reading and learning, teach students strategies needed to access information, and develop student’s abilities to use information effectively.

Online Research Library
If you are needing to research something you want to know more about, log onto your portal and click the Online Research Library icon. You may need a password for these, so notice there is a password tab next to the icon.
Here you will be able to use databases such as Britannica, Image Quest, Pebble Go, Pebble Go Next, and True Flix.
Do you want to read books (Fiction and Non-Fiction) online? Use the Online Research Library icon on your portal to explore Book Flix and TumbleBooks!

You can access our Media Catalog from home! You can get to it through your student portal or by following the link to the Norton Media Catalog under Media Center Links on this website.
Remember you can search by Title, Author, or Keyword (something you are interested in reading or learning more about!).

Lost or Damaged Books
All hardback books have a replacement cost of $15.00 each.
All paperback books have a replacement cost of $5.00 each.
Please pay for any lost or damaged items using the MyPayments Plus Link on this website.
Students having lost or damaged books are unable to check out any new titles from the school's Media Center until fines are resolved.
