Help Day, Car Rider, & Walker Procedures

Each Wednesday is “Help Day.” Students will be admitted to homerooms at 8:15 a.m. Parents will use the bus loop to drop students off at the back of the building. The entrance to the back of the building is accessed by turning onto Lena Carter Road. This entrance may only be used on Wednesday mornings from 8:00 – 8:25 a.m.
Reminders for Safe Car Rider & Walker Procedures:
- Car rider drop-off is from 8:55 – 9:15 a.m. Students are considered tardy if they arrive after 9:15 a.m. and should report to the front office for check-in prior to going to 1st period.
- Parents may arrive on campus for car rider pick-up no earlier than 3:40 p.m.
- Students will be dismissed at 3:55 p.m. to go to the car rider staging locations within the building.
- All vehicles are expected to turn right when exiting the campus during official arrival and dismissal times.
- Parents must provide written permission for their children to walk home from school. The student will be provided with a walking pass that he/she will need to present each day prior to walking home.
- Walkers are expected to stay on the sidewalks as they exit the school campus.
SAFETY PRECAUTION: Students should never exit a vehicle on Braselton Highway.
