Gabriela (Law Enforcement, 2018)
Gabriela is currently a Marine. She states, "Maxwell definitely helped me in so many ways. Especially Mr. Wilson. Great teacher as well as mentor. I love law enforcement and learning about it from Mr. Wilson who was a police officer himself couldn’t be any better. He knew exactly what he was talking about and even shared stories and made it as relatable as possible. Maxwell was the highlight of my high school experience. Everyone at Maxwell is helpful".

Jasmine (Healthcare, 2018)
"Maxwell was a great eye opener for me and introduced me to so many new things. Thanks to Maxwell and my awesome teacher, Mrs. Hoag, I was introduced to a mission trip organization called Identify and went on my first medical mission trip to Guatemala and absolutely loved it! I even got to use the skills we learned in class. Maxwell has definitely pushed me to be the best I can be and to work 10x harder to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. I have never attended a school that cares to push their students to success like Maxwell does".
-
Jonah (Law Enforcement, 2018)
"My time in the law enforcement program at Maxwell has opened my eyes into the field of law enforcement and encouraged me to pursue a career in that area. It has earned me a semester of credit in the program at the school I plan on attending for a two years degree, and has given me a head start on college programs".

Lorelle (Allied Health, 2018)
"I am currently a freshman in college and I feel tremendously blessed to have attended Maxwell. My class was rigorous and fundamental which has helped me adapt study skills for the college courses I am taking. My teacher, Mrs. Hoag, was a blessing because she definitely enlightened my class on what it takes to be in the medical field. She also treated us like her own children and not just students. As a result, I feel like my time at Maxwell was not like any I've ever spent at a regular school but a community and family that shared my passions in learning and going into depth with my career. I looked forward to the activities, laughter, education and fellowship I encountered there. I recommend it to any high school student. I can't wait to go back and visit."

Michael (Welding, 2018)
Michael is currently a Production Welder at Kubota. "Maxwell is probably the best experience I had in high school. I went my senior year and took welding. I learned the three forms of welding and had ample time to practice and master the art. On top of that, I was given the opportunity to learn the science behind welding and how electricity works. It may not seem important but in the workplace knowing that background information sets you apart. I’m 19 and I’m on a tier with folks who are twice my age. The welding program gave me experience and knowledge that would and will take years to learn if you were going straight into the field".

Sarah (Healthcare, 2018)
"My experience at Maxwell High was beyond exceptional. I have never experienced such a fun yet educational environment like that before. Since attending Maxwell High I've decided to further my education and enroll in College, Georgia Gwinnett College, and I am now a Pre-Nursing Major. Being at Maxwell and taking the course(s) I did allowed me to get college credit and also gave me a head start compared to other students who are also applying for the nursing program".
-
Angelica (Graphic Design, 2017)

Thank You, Maxwell, so much, for letting me reach the stars and learn how to get an awesome paying job I'd love"!

Destyni (Cosmetology, 2017)
"When I first enrolled in the cosmetology program here at Maxwell, I had no intentions to love it as much as I did. My overall experience at Maxwell was like no other. Every day I looked forward to coming to an environment of learning, laughter, and togetherness within my program, not to mention the awesome teacher I had, Mrs. Smith. Having her as my teacher helped me to see that cosmetology was so much more than what I thought it is. After finishing the program, I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in the field, so I am currently in the process of receiving my cosmetology [diploma] through an apprenticeship while furthering my education even more at Gwinnett Tech".

Richard (Culinary Arts, 2016)
Richard is a current manager at Golden Corral states, "Learning at Culinary Arts helped me shape up the basics of the kitchen and getting everything down in the real kitchen. Though it was a faster pace in a real kitchen, the basics did help me understand everything going on so I could act upon it. I would not mind sharing my experience in front of future Culinary Classes in person =)".

Gabriella (Culinary Arts, 2013)
"After attending Maxwell, I found my true passion in the Hospitality industry. It led me to my Alma Mater, The Culinary Institute of America, where I studied Culinary Arts and Business Management. Maxwell High School finally gave me a sense of belonging and I knew exactly where my career was taking me. My experience as Sous Chef in my class at Maxwell helped me gain leadership experience early on, and it helped me to obtain my position as Group Leader (Sous Chef) of my graduating class at the CIA as well. Maxwell prepared me for school in so many ways. I was very aware of more culinary terms than I ever realized, and it helped me excel in classes as I had already been introduced to what we were learning at the CIA. I will forever be grateful for my experience with Maxwell Culinary Arts for starting my career in this industry!"
-
Jodi-Ann (Healthcare Science, 2013)
Jodi-Ann is a current RN at Northside Hospital and remembers, "My experience at Maxwell was amazing! I strongly believe that the program I was in really helped me expand my knowledge in the healthcare field. A lot of what I learned at Maxwell helped me in nursing school and even today as an RN. I shared a lot of memories here and I’m grateful to have made the decision of attending this school my senior year :)"
-
Chris (Automotive Service Technology, 2010)
Chris is current CIO of hiQ Internet writes, "I learned quite a bit at Maxwell. The biggest lesson I learned though was that you do not have to go to college to start your life. You make decisions that fit you, even if they are outside the norm. As a result I have gained a fair amount of success without actually having a degree from secondary school".

Travys (AutoCAD, 2004)
Travys is currently working at Trees Atlanta as the Urban Trees & Youth Tree Team Supervisor said, "After deciding at a young age that I wanted to be a "Designer" my parents helped me further my interest in high school by enrolling in Maxwell High School of Technology AutoCAD course. Graduating May 2004, I attended Auburn University for Architecture, I also studied Industrial Design and received my bachelors in Environmental Design from the School of Architecture. During my college tenure, I was granted the opportunity to intern with an architecture firm in Tucker, Ga and the skills I learned from Maxwell earned me recognition and merit at a young age and my input was taken into much consideration. I would advocate for any student who has an exploratory spirit to attend Maxwell and gain a different level of how to see the world. Thank you Maxwell High School of Technology".
