I want to thank those of you that came out and supported our annual STEM night last month. This has become one of our signature events at Walnut Grove and it’s great to see so many students, parents, and individuals from our community having fun and supporting our STEM initiative. Kudos to Mrs. Rundqwist and her team for doing such a great job!
It’s hard to believe we are already in the second semester of the school year, and we just recently celebrated the 100th day of school. Our students and staff had a great time dressing up and implementing the number 100 in a variety of ways into the learning for that day. We are also looking forward to our author visit on March 1st. Ms. Shanda McCloskey will be visiting our school and will have the opportunity to meet that day with all our students.
To help you plan appropriately, students and staff will also have a three- day Winter Break starting on Thursday, February 15 and going through the following Monday, February 19.
Sincerely,
Dr. Dale Pugh
