Mastering the 123’s of Gardening with Ms. Fritz

Fourth graders met with Ms. Fritz on Friday, January 20th to learn about how weather and gardening are related. Students took notes in their STEM journals about what they learned and asked questions to learn more about weather and gardening which relate to our yearlong PBL.

Students learned that weather can directly affect our local school and community garden. Students were informed about gardening strategies used to protect the plants and flowers during any given weather. Students also learned about the importance of knowing what they are planting and what weather each plant thrives in!
