3D Design Club

White Oak 3D designers in grades 3 through 5 worked during the fall to create ornaments for our holiday sale.  Students worked through the design thinking process to solve a problem they discovered - our 3D printer has a small print plate which limits what we can print.

We had over 50 students in 3D design club who met on different days of the week for "lunch and learn" clubs.  Students used Tinkercad to design ornaments, which were then printed for our sale and for the GA Department of Education Christmas tree.

Students sold ornaments each morning in December during arrival time.  We also sold ornaments in Sugar Hill at the Ice Rink during a spirit night.  It was great to connect with the community!

Thank you to our community for supporting STEM and our White Oak 3D design program!
