Mission/Purpose: To provide students and faculty at North with the opportunity to learn about Filipino culture and values. Tinikling (a traditional Filipino folk dance), Boodle fight(a Pinoy tradition! It’s a food party served in a special manner involving banana leaves, but not silverware), Balikbayan box (a donation box to send to children in the Philippines), general meetings, International Night. Possibly Suwanee Fest (our Tinikling group, The Kababayans, performed there last school year!) Using the google forms on our Instagram, or simply showing up to a meeting. We aim to have members start paying dues for official membership and perks within the club.
