All Gateway retests for post graduates are handled through the GCPS Office of Assessment and Accountability. Phoenix will no longer be administering the Gateway to post graduates. House Bill 91: High School Diploma Petition
Governor Nathan Deal signed House Bill 91 into law on March 30, 2015. The law contains provisions for students no longer enrolled in the school system to petition the Local Board of Education for a diploma if their sole reason for not receiving a diploma was due to not passing any part of the Georgia High School Graduation Test at the time of enrollment. SAT/ACT Information
SAT Information ACT Information
- Any student who qualifies for free or reduced lunch program in Gwinnett County Public Schools is entitled to limited fee waivers for SAT and ACT testing.
- Students can receive two fee waivers for the ACT and two fee waivers for the SAT during their junior or senior year.
- Students can also receive two fee waivers for SAT Subject Tests during grades 9-12.
- Before registering for the test, students should visit the counseling office to obtain these fee waivers and discuss locations where they are eligible to test.
- The student's counselor will sign and complete the waiver with appropriate school codes.
