Summer Programs & Resources

  • Auburn Tiger Takeoff is designed for students from underrepresented populations, such as American Indians, African Americans, Hispanic/Latinos, and Asian Americans. We also welcome prospective first-generation college students and individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Students should be academically motivated and willing to increase their knowledge about college readiness. Tiger Takeoff nominees show active involvement in extracurricular activities and have demonstrated leadership.

Students spend two days visiting classes, meeting with faculty and staff, interacting with Auburn students, and participating in cultural and social activities. This program is free and includes all meals, housing, a t-shirt, and program materials (does not include travel costs). By attending Tiger Takeoff, you will learn about admissions procedures and how to afford a college education.

Tiger Takeoff will challenge you and encourage you to be a leader. You will leave wanting to know more about yourself and others, and how to make a college experience work for you.

Tiger Takeoff is scheduled for July 15-16, 2021
